In this opinion paper, I will talk about my opinion on Pluto becoming planet or becoming a dwarf planet in “ What is a Planet” and “When is a Planet Not a Planet ” by NASA and Daniel Santos.In the two drafts they are stating that if Pluto should be a planet or not a planet. I strongly believe Pluto should stay a planet.

Most people thought that the new definition was not a good definition.In the text it says “Alan Stem head of the New Horizons mission to Pluto, called the new definition “awful” and “sloppy science”.

Most people thought that there are other planets that don’t have a clear neighborhood. In the text it says that there are other planets that don’t have a clear neighborhood like Earth, Mars, Jupiter, and Neptune all share their orbits with thousands of asteroids.
